 Service coordination seeks to ensure that the individuals NYSARC serves can take advantage of all available services and opportunities to meet their unique needs.
Service coordinators, as the name suggests, bring together services to promote individual growth and well being. Service coordinators make sure that everything within NYSARC, other similar organizations and the community is available and accessible to consumers and families. Additionally, they make sure that families and consumers are aware of critical resources including, among others, residential alternatives, family support, supported work. Service coordination is a mandated part of almost all of the programs NYSARC operates. |
