NYSARC, Inc. is currently seeking a key individual to join our corporate office executive team. The individual will offer support to NYSARC’s 48 operational Chapters in connection with New York State’s Medicaid reform efforts and the State’s evolving service and reimbursement model. The position is located in the Albany, NY area.
This position is responsible for providing managed care and value-based payment related training, resources, and consulting to all NYSARC stakeholder groups. The position requires experience with and knowledge of the managed care industry and the ability to clearly communicate across all levels of the NYSARC Chapter organization - leadership, direct line staff, individuals served, board members and families - to ensure an understanding of change management and requirements to be an efficient and effective provider within a managed care or other value-based payment system.
The position will serve as a NYSARC representative to the State and Federal governments and advocate on managed care and other value-based payment systems. The person in this role will coordinate activities and collaborate with other NYSARC staff and Chapters to develop managed care policy, value-based payment system awareness, change recommendations, systems, and quality initiatives for consideration.

Arc of Seneca Cayuga seeks a dynamic Executive Director to lead and provide executive management to our organization supporting and assisting over 1,100 individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. This is an exciting opportunity to provide strong leadership and vision to an agency with approximately 600 employees and a $25 million operating budget. Arc of Seneca Cayuga has 18 locations in a two-county region.
The Executive Director will be an outstanding leader and change agent with proven skills to build upon Arc of Seneca Cayuga’s successful track record. S/he will work alongside a deeply committed staff and an engaged and dedicated Board of Directors to ensure the agency’s sustainability in a significantly changing policy and funding environment and will possess the leadership skills to guide the agency toward sustainability and growth. Strong skills in working with governmental and regulatory organizations is required.
Specific expertise sought includes strategic thinking and implementation, change leadership, collaboration and teamwork, operational excellence, financial and business acumen, a track record of revenue diversification toward financial resilience, service delivery excellence to the intellectually and developmentally disabled population, and community engagement and marketing expertise.
A Master’s or other advanced degree in a relevant field strongly preferred with a minimum of 10 years of organizational leadership experience required. Health and human services experience preferred.

Develop a case statement for private fundraising and strategies for reducing reliance on government funding and play an active role in the implementation of these strategies. Provide strategic leadership to address the financial and programmatic impacts around the closing of the work center, and the expansion of community employment. Raise the profile of the organization in the community by implementing a brand awareness campaign. Oversee new contract for START (Systemic Therapeutic Assessment Resources and Treatment) program, a new 17-county pilot program that provides community-based crisis response and prevention services. Explore collaborative opportunities for program delivery, staffing and managed care.
