Scholarships

Each year, NYSARC awards scholarships to college students pursing education in the fields of special education, physical or occupational therapy or a field related to intellectual and other developmental disabilities.

Awards & Recognitions

Each year, NYSARC honors and pays tribute to members of the Association in recognition of continued dedication, service and advocacy on behalf of people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.

Thomas A. Maul Direct Support Professional Excellence Award  - deadline May 5, 2008 - This award acknowledges the work of the direct support professionals who consistently demonstrate excellence, creativity and commitment in providing supports to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.  In appreciation of the contributions made by direct support professionals, the award includes $2,500.00.
